Used For:

Zolmitriptan is a medication used to treat acute migraine attacks, with or without aura, in adults. It is a selective serotonin receptor agonist (commonly referred to as a triptan) that works by narrowing blood vessels in the brain, helping to relieve the symptoms of a migraine, such as severe headache, nausea, and sensitivity to light and sound. Zolmitriptan is typically taken as a tablet, nasal spray, or orally disintegrating tablet, depending on the preferred method of administration.

Side Effects:

Common side effects of zolmitriptan include dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth, and a feeling of tightness or pressure in the chest or throat. Some people may experience nausea, fatigue, or tingling sensations.
