Side Effects:

  • Common: Drowsiness, dizziness, nausea

  • Serious: QT prolongation (cardiac monitoring needed)

  • Metabolic: Lower weight gain risk vs other atypicals

Precautions:

  • Take with food (doubles absorption)

  • Avoid in heart disease/low potassium
