Used for:
Xepex 20mg is used to treat conditions related to excess stomach acid, including:
- Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD)
- Peptic Ulcers
- Zollinger-Ellison Syndrome
- Prevention of stomach ulcers caused by NSAIDs
- Helicobacter pylori eradication (in combination with antibiotics)
Side Effects:
Common side effects include:
- Headache
- Nausea
- Diarrhea
- Abdominal pain
- Bloating
- Dizziness
- Dry mouth
Serious side effects (seek medical attention if they occur):
- Severe allergic reactions (rash, swelling, breathing difficulty)

- Clostridium difficile infection (severe diarrhea)
