  • HIV infection management (helps prevent HIV from multiplying and lowers the chance of complications related to the virus).

Side Effects:

  • Common side effects may include headache, dizziness, nausea, diarrhea, vomiting, abdominal pain, fatigue, and cough.
  • Other less frequent side effects could be rash, joint pain (arthralgia), and increased liver enzymes (ALT)​
