Used For:

• Sofosbuvir and Velpatasvir are used in combination to treat chronic hepatitis C virus (HCV) infection. This combination works by directly targeting and inhibiting viral enzymes, thus preventing the replication of the virus. It is often used as part of a treatment regimen to cure hepatitis C in individuals without cirrhosis or with compensated cirrhosis.

Side Effects:

• Common: Fatigue, headache, nausea, insomnia
• Less Common: Diarrhea, irritability, and abdominal discomfort
• Rare but Serious: Severe allergic reactions, liver problems, and reactivation of hepatitis B (in patients co-infected with hepatitis B)

Precautions:
