Used For:

  • Angina Pectoris: Used to treat chest pain caused by coronary artery disease.
  • Heart Function: Improves the efficiency of the heart muscle during ischemic conditions (lack of oxygen).
  • Vertigo: Sometimes used to treat vestibular disorders and improve circulation to the inner ear.

Side Effects:

  • Common: Dizziness, gastrointestinal disturbances (nausea, abdominal pain), headache, increased heart rate.
  • Serious: Movement disorders (Parkinsonism-like symptoms), allergic reactions (rash, swelling).

Precautions:

  • Neurological Disorders: Use with caution in patients with Parkinson's disease or other movement disorders.
  • Liver/Kidney Impairment: Caution in patients with liver or kidney dysfunction.
