  • Improves skin texture & pigmentation

Side Effects:

  • Common: Redness, peeling, dryness (initial "purge")

  • Serious: Severe irritation, photosensitivity

  • Rare: Hypopigmentation (in dark skin)

Precautions:

  • Apply at bedtime (sunlight degrades tretinoin)

  • Use sunscreen daily (SPF 30+ mandatory)

  • Start with lower strength (2-3x weekly initially)
