Used For:

• Treat high blood pressure (hypertension) by relaxing blood vessels, which lowers blood pressure.
• Manage symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), such as difficulty urinating or frequent urination, by relaxing the muscles in the prostate and bladder neck.

Side Effects:

• Dizziness or lightheadedness, especially when standing up quickly
• Headache
• Fatigue or weakness
• Nasal congestion
• Nausea

Less common but serious side effects may include:

• Severe allergic reactions, including rash, itching, or swelling of the face, lips, or throat
• Syncope (fainting), which may occur due to a significant drop in blood pressure
• Swelling of the hands, feet, or legs
• Prolonged or painful erection (priapism)

Precautions:
