Timequin Capsules combine two active ingredients:

  • Tinidazole (320mg): An antiprotozoal and antibacterial agent used to treat infections caused by protozoa and anaerobic bacteria, such as giardiasis, amoebiasis, and certain types of bacterial vaginosis.

This combination is used for treating mixed infections where both aerobic and anaerobic bacteria are involved, such as in certain abdominal infections.

  • Kidney and Liver Function: Monitor kidney and liver function during treatment, especially in patients with pre-existing conditions.
  • Pregnancy and Breastfeeding: Consult your healthcare provider if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or breastfeeding, as the safety of ciprofloxacin and tinidazole during these times has not been fully established.
  • Neurological Health: Use with caution if you have a history of neurological disorders, as fluoroquinolones can cause central nervous system effects.
