Used For:

• Chronic Myeloid Leukemia (CML): Tasigna, also known as Nilotinib, is used to treat chronic myeloid leukemia (CML) in patients with the Philadelphia chromosome-positive (Ph+) and who are either newly diagnosed or have not responded to other treatments. It is specifically used for:
  • Chronic Phase CML: For patients with chronic phase CML.
  • Accelerated or Blast Phase CML: For patients with accelerated or blast phase CML who are Philadelphia chromosome-positive.

Side Effects:

• Nausea and Vomiting: Common gastrointestinal side effects.
