Used For:

  1. Treats acute migraine attacks with or without aura.

  2. Sumatriptan: Narrows blood vessels in the brain and blocks pain signals.

  3. Naproxen: A nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that reduces inflammation and pain.

  4. Provides faster, more complete relief than either drug alone.

  5. Helps reduce headache, nausea, and sensitivity to light/sound.

Side Effects:

  • Dizziness or drowsiness

  • Nausea or stomach upset

  • Chest tightness or flushing (from Sumatriptan)

  • Indigestion or heartburn (from Naproxen)

  • Rare risk of heart attack or stroke (especially in high-risk patients)

Precaution:

  • Not for prevention—use only at migraine onset.

  • Avoid in patients with heart disease, uncontrolled hypertension, or stroke history.

  • Do not take other NSAIDs or triptans alongside.

  • Use with caution if you have asthma, kidney, or liver problems.

  • Do not exceed the recommended dose—risk of serious cardiovascular or gastrointestinal side effect
