Used For:

Moxifloxacin is an antibiotic that treats bacterial infections. It’s often used for respiratory infections (like pneumonia), skin infections, and certain sinus or eye infections.

Side Effects:

Common side effects include nausea, diarrhea, dizziness, and headaches. Serious but less common side effects can include tendon problems, nerve damage, and mood changes.

Precautions:

  • Avoid sun exposure, as moxifloxacin can increase sun sensitivity.
