Used For:

  • Respiratory Tract Infections: Such as bronchitis, pneumonia, and sinusitis
  • Urinary Tract Infections (UTIs)
  • Ear Infections: Especially middle ear infections (otitis media)
  • Throat Infections: Including pharyngitis and tonsillitis
  • Gonorrhea: Uncomplicated cases in some instances

Side Effects:

  • Common Side Effects:
    • Nausea, vomiting
    • Diarrhea
    • Stomach pain or discomfort
    • Headache
  • Serious Side Effects (rare):
    • Allergic reactions (rash, itching, swelling, severe dizziness, difficulty breathing)
