Used For:

• Stimulates colonic muscle contraction to help bowel movements

• Works as a selective serotonin 5-HT4 receptor agonist

• Improves gut motility and speeds up transit time in the colon

• Often prescribed for idiopathic constipation, especially in women

Side Effects:

• Headache, nausea

• Diarrhea, abdominal pain

• Dizziness or fatigue

• Rare: mood changes or heart rhythm issues (monitor in heart conditions)
