Used For:

Glimepiride and Pioglitazone are oral antidiabetic medications used to treat Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus (T2DM) by improving blood sugar control.

• Glimepiride: A sulfonylurea that increases insulin release from the pancreas.
• Pioglitazone: A thiazolidinedione that improves insulin sensitivity in muscle and fat tissues.

Side Effects:

• Glimepiride:

  • Hypoglycemia (low blood sugar)
  • Weight gain
  • Nausea
  • Dizziness

• Pioglitazone:
