Paroxetine is a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI) antidepressant used to treat various mental health conditions, including major depressive disorder, generalized anxiety disorder, social anxiety disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), panic disorder, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). By increasing serotonin levels in the brain, it helps improve mood, emotional well-being, and anxiety symptoms.

Side Effects:

Common side effects may include nausea, dry mouth, drowsiness, dizziness, insomnia, and sexual dysfunction (such as decreased libido or difficulty achieving orgasm). Other possible side effects include sweating, weight gain, and gastrointestinal disturbances. Rare but serious side effects can include suicidal thoughts or behaviors, serotonin syndrome, and severe allergic reactions.

Precautions:
