Used For:

Atropine is an anticholinergic medication used to dilate the pupils for eye exams or surgeries, reduce saliva and other bodily secretions before surgery, and treat certain heart rhythm disorders. It can also be used as an antidote for poisoning by organophosphate insecticides and nerve agents.
