Used For:

Olmesartan medoxomil is an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB) used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension). It helps lower blood pressure by preventing the action of a substance in the body that causes blood vessels to constrict, thereby relaxing and widening the blood vessels. This can help reduce the risk of complications related to hypertension, such as heart attack and stroke.

Side Effects:

  • Dizziness

  • Headache

  • Fatigue

  • Nausea

  • Diarrhea

  • Increased potassium levels (hyperkalemia)

Precautions:
