Used For:
- Olver Injection IV 500mg is used to treat various bacterial infections, including severe or life-threatening forms. The active ingredient, Ceftriaxone, is a third-generation cephalosporin antibiotic that works by inhibiting the synthesis of bacterial cell walls, leading to bacterial cell death.
 
Side Effects:
- Common side effects may include pain, redness, or swelling at the injection site, rash, and diarrhea.
 - Less common side effects can include nausea, vomiting, headache, and dizziness.
 - Rare but serious side effects may involve severe allergic reactions (such as rash, itching/swelling, severe dizziness, trouble breathing), Clostridium difficile-associated diarrhea, and changes in blood counts (such as low white blood cells or platelets).
