Used For:

  • Folic acid deficiency treatment

  • Pregnancy support – helps prevent neural tube defects

  • Supporting heart, brain, and cellular health

  • Used in patients with MTHFR gene mutation (who can't convert regular folic acid)

Side Effects:

  • Usually well tolerated

  • Rare: Nausea, bloating, or allergic reactions

  • Very high doses: Sleep disturbance or irritability

Precautions:

  • Always follow doctor’s dosage instructions

  • Safe in pregnancy and lactation if taken as advised

  • Should not be confused with regular folic acid in prescription-sensitive case
