    • Dizziness or lightheadedness
    • Fatigue

Precautions:

  1. Use in the Elderly: Older adults may be more sensitive to the effects of clonazepam and are at a higher risk for side effects, such as confusion and falls.

  2. Alcohol and Other Depressants: Avoid alcohol and other central nervous system depressants while taking clonazepam, as this can increase the risk of severe sedation and respiratory depression.

  3. Pregnancy and Breastfeeding: Clonazepam should be used during pregnancy only if the potential benefit justifies the risk to the fetus. It is not recommended during breastfeeding due to the potential for serious adverse effects in the infant.

  4. Medical History: Inform your healthcare provider of any history of substance abuse, liver or kidney problems, or respiratory disorders before starting clonazepam.

  5. Driving and Operating Machinery: Due to its sedative effects, caution is advised when driving or operating heavy machinery until you know how the medication affects you.
