Used For:

Moxiopt Eye Drops are commonly prescribed to treat:

  1. Bacterial Conjunctivitis: Also known as "pink eye," an infection of the outer membrane of the eye caused by bacteria.
  2. Other Bacterial Eye Infections: Moxiopt is effective in treating various bacterial infections that affect the eyes.

Side Effects:

Common side effects include:

  • Eye Irritation: Burning or stinging sensation after application.
  • Redness in the Eyes
  • Dry Eyes
  • Watery Eyes

Rare but serious side effects include:

  • Severe Allergic Reactions: Swelling of the eyes, eyelids, face, or tongue, rash, itching, or difficulty breathing.
  • Blurred Vision: Temporary blurred vision after using the drops.

Precautions:

  1. Allergy: Avoid using Moxiopt Eye Drops if you are allergic to moxifloxacin or any other fluoroquinolone antibiotics.
