Misar H Tablets 40mg/12.5mg are a combination medication that contains two active ingredients: Telmisartan (40 mg) and Hydrochlorothiazide (12.5 mg). This combination is primarily used to treat hypertension (high blood pressure).

  1. Telmisartan (40 mg):

    • Telmisartan is an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB) that works by blocking the action of certain natural substances that tighten the blood vessels, allowing blood to flow more smoothly and lowering blood pressure.
  2. Hydrochlorothiazide (12.5 mg):

    • Hydrochlorothiazide is a diuretic (water pill) that helps your body make more urine, which helps your body get rid of extra salt and water. This effect helps to lower blood pressure.

  • Dizziness or lightheadedness
  • Weakness
