Misar-AM 80/5mg Tablets are a combination medication containing two active ingredients: Telmisartan (80 mg) and Amlodipine (5 mg). This combination is primarily used to manage high blood pressure (hypertension).

Telmisartan (80 mg):
- An angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB) that helps to relax blood vessels, allowing blood to flow more easily and lowering blood pressure.

- A calcium channel blocker (CCB) that helps to relax and widen blood vessels, improving blood flow and lowering blood pressure.
Side Effects:
Common side effects may include:
- Dizziness or lightheadedness
- Swelling of the ankles or feet (edema)
- Flushing (warmth, redness, or tingling feeling)
- Fatigue
- Headache
Serious side effects (seek medical attention if these occur):
- Severe dizziness or fainting
