Used For:
- Diabetes Insipidus: Minirin is prescribed to manage central diabetes insipidus, a condition characterized by excessive urination and thirst due to insufficient vasopressin (antidiuretic hormone) production.
- Nocturnal Enuresis: It is used for treating bedwetting (nocturnal enuresis) in children who are at least 5 years old and have not responded adequately to other treatments.
- Bleeding Disorders: Desmopressin may be used in patients with mild hemophilia A or von Willebrand disease to increase levels of certain clotting factors.
Side Effects:
