Used for

  • Vertigo Treatment: Helps in conditions like Ménière's disease and other balance disorders.

Side Effects

  • Common: Drowsiness, fatigue, weight gain, dry mouth.
  • Less Common: Nausea, depression, muscle stiffness, dizziness.
  • Serious (Rare): Parkinsonism-like symptoms (tremors, muscle rigidity), mood changes.

Precautions

  • Avoid if you have depression: Flunarizine can worsen depression symptoms.
