Used For:

• Nausea and Vomiting: Often prescribed to control nausea and vomiting, including those related to chemotherapy, radiation therapy, or postoperative recovery.

Side Effects:

• Common Side Effects: These may include drowsiness, fatigue, diarrhea, restlessness, and headache.
• Serious Side Effects: Long-term use or high doses can lead to tardive dyskinesia, a serious movement disorder that may be irreversible. Other serious effects include neuroleptic malignant syndrome, depression, and allergic reactions.
