Used For:

  • Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD): Helps alleviate symptoms of heartburn and acid reflux.
  • Peptic Ulcers: Assists in healing ulcers in the stomach and the upper part of the small intestine.
  • Zollinger-Ellison Syndrome: Treats this rare condition characterized by excessive gastric acid production.
  • Prevention of Ulcers: Used in patients taking nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) to prevent gastric ulcers.

Side Effects:

Common side effects may include:

  • Nausea or vomiting.
