• Type 1 Diabetes Mellitus (T1DM)
• Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus (T2DM) – When oral medications are not enough
• Gestational Diabetes (if needed, under doctor’s supervision)

Side Effects:

• Common:

  • Hypoglycemia (low blood sugar) – Sweating, dizziness, shakiness, hunger
  • Injection site reactions (redness, swelling)
  • Weight gain

• Serious (Less Common):

  • Severe hypoglycemia – May cause fainting or seizures
  • Allergic reactions – Rash, difficulty breathing
  • Low potassium (hypokalemia) – Symptoms: Weakness, irregular heartbeat

Precautions:
