Used For:
Incobal Injection contains Mecobalamin (Vitamin B12), used for:
- Treating Vitamin B12 deficiency
- Managing pernicious anemia, a condition where the body cannot absorb Vitamin B12 properly
- Neuropathies (nerve damage), especially in people with conditions such as diabetes or chronic nerve pain
- Supporting the recovery of damaged nerves and promoting nerve regeneration
- Boosting red blood cell production and preventing or treating anemia caused by a Vitamin B12 deficiency
It is often used in patients who have difficulty absorbing B12 through oral supplements or who need faster replenishment of Vitamin B12.
Side Effects:
Common side effects of Incobal Injection may include:
- Mild pain, redness, or swelling at the injection site
- Nausea or vomiting
- Diarrhea
- Headache
- Dizziness
Serious side effects (rare) may include:
- Allergic reactions (rash, itching, swelling, dizziness, difficulty breathing)
