Used For:

• Severe bacterial infections, including:

  • Pneumonia (including hospital-acquired)
  • Meningitis
  • Intra-abdominal infections (peritonitis, appendicitis)
  • Urinary tract infections (complicated UTIs)
  • Sepsis and bloodstream infections
  • Skin and soft tissue infections
  • Bone and joint infections

• Used when other antibiotics fail due to its broad-spectrum activity.

• Serious Side Effects (Rare but possible):
