Used For:

  • Treatment of serious bacterial infections such as sepsis, bone infections, urinary tract infections (UTIs), respiratory tract infections, and infections in the abdomen.
  • Contains gentamicin, an aminoglycoside antibiotic that works by inhibiting bacterial protein synthesis, killing the bacteria.

Side Effects:

  • Nausea or vomiting.

  • Hearing loss or balance issues (due to ototoxicity).
