Used For:

  • Treatment of bacterial infections, such as urinary tract infections (UTIs), respiratory infections, gastrointestinal infections, and skin infections.
  • Contains ciprofloxacin, a broad-spectrum antibiotic from the fluoroquinolone class that works by inhibiting bacterial DNA replication.

Side Effects:

  • Nausea or vomiting.
  • Diarrhea.
  • Dizziness or headache.
  • Rarely, may cause tendon rupture, allergic reactions, or photosensitivity (increased sensitivity to sunlight).

Precautions:

  • Avoid use if allergic to ciprofloxacin or other fluoroquinolones.
  • Consult your doctor if you have a history of tendon disorders, kidney disease, or epilepsy.
  • Use with caution during pregnancy and breastfeeding, under medical supervision.
