Used For:

  • Treatment of high cholesterol and triglyceride levels (hyperlipidemia).
  • Contains gemfibrozil, which belongs to a class of drugs called fibrates that help lower triglycerides and bad cholesterol (LDL) while increasing good cholesterol (HDL).

Side Effects:

  • Nausea or vomiting.
  • Stomach pain or indigestion.
  • Diarrhea.
  • Rarely, may cause muscle pain or weakness (myopathy), or liver problems.

Precautions:

  • Avoid use if allergic to gemfibrozil or any of the ingredients.
  • Consult your doctor if you have a history of liver disease, kidney disease, or gallbladder problems.
  • Use with caution during pregnancy and breastfeeding, under medical supervision.
  • Regular monitoring of liver function and cholesterol levels is recommended during treatment
