Used For:

  • Management of type 2 diabetes mellitus to improve glycemic control.
  • Contains vildagliptin, a DPP-4 inhibitor that works by increasing insulin release and decreasing glucagon levels in the blood.

Side Effects:

  • Headache.
  • Nausea or vomiting.
  • Diarrhea.
  • Rarely, may cause hypoglycemia (low blood sugar) when used with other antidiabetic medications.

Precautions:

  • Avoid use if allergic to vildagliptin or any of the ingredients.
