Used For:

  1. Treats allergic eye conditions like seasonal allergic conjunctivitis.

  2. Fluorometholone reduces inflammation, redness, and swelling (steroid).

  3. Sodium Cromoglycate prevents allergic reactions by stabilizing mast cells.

  4. Provides relief from itching, tearing, and irritation.

  5. Often used when other anti-allergy drops aren’t enough.

Side Effects:

  • Temporary stinging or burning

  • Blurred vision

  • Eye irritation or dryness

  • Increased eye pressure (from fluorometholone)

  • Rare: allergic reactions or infection with prolonged use

Precautions:

  • Not for viral or fungal eye infections

  • Long-term use of steroid (fluorometholone) needs eye pressure monitoring
