Used For:

Flagyl Injection is primarily used to treat various bacterial and protozoal infections, including:

• Bacterial Infections: Such as intra-abdominal infections, skin and soft tissue infections, respiratory tract infections, and bone and joint infections.
• Protozoal Infections: Including amoebic dysentery and trichomoniasis.
• Antibiotic-Associated Colitis: Caused by Clostridium difficile.

Active Ingredient:

• Metronidazole: An antibiotic and antiprotozoal agent that works by inhibiting nucleic acid synthesis in bacteria and protozoa, effectively killing the pathogens.

Side Effects:
