 Empagen-L is a combination of two drugs: Empagliflozin (5mg) and Linagliptin (25mg). This medication is primarily used for managing type 2 diabetes mellitus. It helps in lowering blood sugar levels by:

• Empagliflozin: A sodium-glucose co-transporter 2 (SGLT2) inhibitor that works by removing excess glucose through urine.
• Linagliptin: A DPP-4 inhibitor that increases the levels of incretin hormones, which help control blood sugar levels by increasing insulin release.

Side Effects:
