Used For:

  • Scabies Infestation: Kills Sarcoptes scabiei mites and eggs

  • Lice Treatment: Eliminates head/body lice (off-label use)

  • Prevent Reinfestation: Applied to close contacts prophylactically

Side Effects:

  • Mild Burning/Itching (temporary after application)

  • Skin Redness/Rash (allergic reaction in sensitive individuals)

  • Numbness/Tingling (rare; if occurs, wash off immediately)

Precautions:

  • Prescription Only: Not for OTC purchase in most countries

  • Application:

    • Apply from neck down to entire body (including under nails, between toes)

    • Leave on for 8–14 hours, then wash off thoroughly

  • Avoid:

    • Face/scalp (unless treating lice)

    • Open wounds or severely inflamed skin

  • Pregnancy: Category B (use only if clearly needed)
