Used For:

  • Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD): Helps treat symptoms of acid reflux, such as heartburn, by reducing stomach acid production.
  • Peptic Ulcers: Treats and prevents ulcers in the stomach and intestines.
  • Zollinger-Ellison Syndrome: A condition where the stomach produces too much acid.
  • Erosive Esophagitis: Heals damage to the esophagus caused by stomach acid.
  • H. pylori Infection: Used in combination with antibiotics to treat infections that can lead to ulcers.

Side Effects:

  • Common:
    • Headache
