Used For:

• Asthma: Montelukast is used to prevent asthma attacks and manage chronic asthma by reducing inflammation in the airways and preventing bronchoconstriction (narrowing of the airways).

• Allergic Rhinitis (Hay Fever): It helps reduce symptoms of seasonal and perennial allergies, such as sneezing, runny nose, and congestion, by blocking the action of leukotrienes (inflammatory chemicals released during allergic reactions).
