Used For:

Dexxoo Capsule 30mg contains Dexlansoprazole, a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) used to:

  • Treat Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) or chronic acid reflux
  • Heal and maintain healing of erosive esophagitis (inflammation or damage to the esophagus caused by stomach acid)
  • Relieve symptoms of heartburn, acid regurgitation, and discomfort caused by excessive stomach acid

Side Effects:

  • Nausea
  • Diarrhea
  • Stomach pain or discomfort
  • Gas or bloating
  • Dizziness
  • Headache

Serious but rare side effects may include:

  • Low magnesium levels (symptoms: muscle cramps, irregular heartbeat)
  • Vitamin B12 deficiency with long-term use
  • Increased risk of fractures with prolonged use
  • Allergic reactions (rash, itching, swelling, difficulty breathing)
