Used For:

  2. Helps in diagnosing refractive errors in children and adults.

  3. Sometimes used before or after eye surgery.

  4. Used in the treatment of certain inflammatory eye conditions.

  5. Applied as eye drops in clinical settings.

Side Effects:

  • Blurred vision, light sensitivity, stinging/burning in the eyes.

  • Dry mouth, flushed skin, headache.

  • Rarely: confusion, hallucinations, fast heartbeat (especially in children).

Precaution:

  • Avoid driving or using machines until vision clears.

  • Use with caution in children and the elderly.

  • Inform your doctor if you have glaucoma or heart conditions.

  • Remove contact lenses before use.
