Used For:

  • Hypertension (High Blood Pressure): Coversyl Plus is prescribed for the treatment of high blood pressure, helping to reduce the risk of cardiovascular events such as stroke, heart attack, and kidney damage.
  • Perindopril works by inhibiting the ACE enzyme, reducing the production of angiotensin II, a substance that constricts blood vessels. This leads to the dilation of blood vessels, lowering blood pressure and decreasing the strain on the heart.
  • Indapamide helps lower blood pressure by increasing the excretion of sodium and water through urine, reducing blood volume and pressure on the blood vessels.

    • Dizziness or lightheadedness
    • Headache
    • Fatigue
    • Dry cough (due to perindopril)
    • Increased urination (due to indapamide)

  • This medication is not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Consult your doctor if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or breastfeeding.
  • Lifestyle changes such as a healthy diet, regular exercise, and weight management can enhance the effectiveness of this treatment.
  • Do not stop taking the medication abruptly without consulting your healthcare provider, as it may lead to a rebound increase in blood pressure.
  • Report any severe side effects or unusual symptoms to your healthcare provider immediately.
