Product Description

Product Name: Coversyl Tablet 8mg

Product Form: Tablets

Pack Size: 30's

Manufactured By: Servier

Used For:

  • Hypertension (High Blood Pressure): Coversyl 8 mg is used to lower high blood pressure, reducing the risk of serious cardiovascular events like heart attack and stroke.
  • Heart Failure: It is prescribed to manage heart failure by improving heart function and relieving symptoms.
  • Prevention of Cardiovascular Events: Coversyl is often used in patients with stable coronary artery disease to reduce the risk of heart-related complications, especially in those with a history of heart attacks or certain heart procedures.

Perindopril works by inhibiting the ACE enzyme, which reduces the production of angiotensin II, a hormone that causes blood vessels to constrict. By reducing angiotensin II, the blood vessels relax, leading to lowered blood pressure, improved blood flow, and decreased strain on the heart.
