Used For:

• Co-Dorzal eye drops are primarily used to reduce elevated intraocular pressure (IOP) in patients with:
  • Open-angle glaucoma
  • Ocular hypertension

• Dorzolamide is a carbonic anhydrase inhibitor that decreases the production of aqueous humor (the fluid inside the eye), which helps lower IOP.
• Timolol is a non-selective beta-adrenergic antagonist (beta-blocker) that also reduces aqueous humor production and improves its outflow, further lowering IOP.

Side Effects:

• Common side effects may include:

  • Burning or stinging sensation in the eye upon instillation
  • Dry eyes
  • Blurred vision
  • Eye irritation or redness
  • Taste alteration (bitter taste in the mouth)

• Serious side effects (rare) may include:
