Used For:

• Hypertension (high blood pressure): Co-Diovan is primarily used to treat high blood pressure, helping to lower the risk of heart attack, stroke, and other cardiovascular complications.
• Heart Failure: It may also be used in managing heart failure to improve symptoms and reduce the risk of hospitalization.

• Valsartan blocks the action of angiotensin II, a hormone that causes blood vessels to constrict. By inhibiting its effects, valsartan helps relax blood vessels, lowering blood pressure and reducing the workload on the heart.
• Hydrochlorothiazide increases urine output by promoting the excretion of sodium and water, which reduces blood volume and lowers blood pressure.
