Used For

Glycolic Acid 10%

  • A powerful AHA (alpha hydroxy acid) – exfoliates the top layer of skin

  • Smooths texture, reduces fine lines, fades acne marks and pigmentation

  • Boosts skin cell turnover for glowier skin

Azelaic Acid 15%

  • Anti-inflammatory + anti-bacterial

  • Fights acne, rosacea, and redness

  • Helps fade post-acne pigmentation and melasma

  • Safe for sensitive skin (but can be drying at first)

Side Effects

Because both are actives, using them together or with other ingredients you mentioned could cause:

  • Irritation or burning

  • Dryness or peeling

  • Temporary purging

Precautions

  • Do not layer Glycolic Acid and Azelaic Acid in the same routine unless under professional guidance.

  • Use Glycolic Acid 2–3x/week at night (not daily).

  • Use Azelaic Acid daily or every other night.

  • Never use Glycolic Acid + Vitamin C + Retinol together — too harsh.

  • Use sunscreen daily – seriously, AHAs make your skin super sensitive to UV.
