Used For:

  • Treatment of respiratory tract infections such as pneumonia, bronchitis, and sinusitis
  • Skin infections
  • Ear infections
  • Certain types of stomach ulcers caused by Helicobacter pylori (in combination with other medications)
  • Throat infections, including tonsillitis and pharyngitis

Side Effects:

Common side effects of Clarithione Tablets may include:

  • Nausea
  • Diarrhea
  • Vomiting
  • Stomach pain
  • Abnormal taste
  • Headache

Less common but more serious side effects may include:

  • Severe allergic reactions (rash, itching, swelling, severe dizziness, trouble breathing)
  • Severe abdominal pain

  • Yellowing of the eyes or skin (jaundice)
  • Dark urine
  • Unusual tiredness
  • Hearing loss

Precautions:
