Used For:

  • Bacterial ear infections: Primarily for treating otitis externa (outer ear infections), commonly known as "swimmer's ear."
  • Reduces inflammation: Helps manage swelling, redness, and pain caused by bacterial infections in the ear.
  • Dual action: Combines an antibiotic (usually Ciprofloxacin) to kill bacteria and a steroid (like dexamethasone or hydrocortisone) to reduce inflammation.

Side Effects:

  • Mild ear discomfort: Temporary itching, burning, or irritation in the ear.
  • Ear congestion: May experience a feeling of fullness or pressure in the ear.
  • Allergic reactions (rare): Skin rash, swelling, dizziness, or trouble breathing.
